From Rishi Kapoor in Rafoo Chakkar to Ranbir Kapoor at Filmfare Awards, Bollywood's men have always been sporty enough to dress up like women.

As Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor show the world their feminine side in the upcoming film, Humshakals, let's take a look at the Bollywood men, who have been there and done that...

  • 10 Bollywood men, who played women impressively!
    Aamir Khan

It won't be exaggeration to say that Aamir Khan makes the most beautiful woman among Bollywood's men.

It was way back in 1995 for the film, Baazi when Aamir first donned a girl's avatar.

And since there, there has been no looking back. Whenever required, Mr. Perfectionist has played a woman with elane, then be it for Coca Cola, Tata Sky or for the latest Godrej Furniture.

    Riteish Deshmukh

Riteish has posed as a pretty woman so many times, that now he can actually sleep walk through such roles.

He not only looks beautiful and believable as a beautiful lass, but it is commendable how he takes care of petty feminine nuances, that add credibility to his otherwise funny avatar.

We loved him as the bixom Sonia in 'Apna Sapna Money Money' and now, we are looking forward to Humshakals.

    Govinda

The movie was Aunty No.1 and the actor playing the heavy-duty aunty was Govinda.

But it was his girly avatar in 1994 filck, Raja Babu that's closer to heart.

While the film was a runway hit, Govinda once again proved that he is the king of comedy.

    Kamal Hassan

If Govinda teased you as aunty, Kamal Hassan impressed us when he played Chachi in Chachi 420.

The film was the remake of Hollywood flick, Mrs.Doubtfire.

While his counterparts chose to play young and sexy beauties, he accepted the challenge and played a sixty something Maharashtrian woman.

  • 10 Bollywood men, who played women impressively!
    Ranbir Kapoor

The young Kapoor may not have got a chance to play a woman in a film, but when he got a chance to do so, he grabbed it with both hands.

He played a woman, Vidya Balan from dirty picture to be precise while he was hosting the Filmfare Awards.

We love you Ranbir, please spare us this torture.

  • 10 Bollywood men, who played women impressively!
    Shammi Kapoor

Late actor Shammi Kapoor had an awesome comic timing and make him a woman and you are in for a laugh riot.

The actor dressed up as a female for a song sequence in 196 film, Bluff Master.

    Buoy! He looked beautiful.

  • 10 Bollywood men, who played women impressively!
    Rishi Kapoor

If there's one actor who can give tough competition to Aamir Khan when it comes to cross-dressing, it has to be Rishi Kapoor.

The actor along with Goofy Pantel played teenage girls in Rafoo Chakkar.

  • 10 Bollywood men, who played women impressively!
    Amitabh Bachchan

Though he didn't make a woman as beautiful as Rishi or Shammi but he hit the bull's eye in the song 'Mere Angne Me.'

Till date it is fun to see Big B dressing up as a fat, slim, tall, short and dark woman... all in a single song.

  • 10 Bollywood men, who played women impressively!
    Shah Rukh Khan

The King Khan of Bollywood too couldn't stay away from showing off his feminine side.

We saw him cross-dressing in Duplicate.

And buoy he looked sexy! Look at those eyes!

  • 10 Bollywood men, who played women impressively!
    Salman Khan

First it was in Hum Apke Hain Kaun that Salman Khan walked in dressed in a ladies' maxie in a song sequence.

After the brief stint, he got into a woman's garb in 2006 film, Jaaneman.

While the film flopped but Salman's macho women look became the talk of the town.
