Abhishree Kulkarni  [ Tue, Jun 6, 2017 ]
Post her sizzling performance in 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's fans have been awaiting to hear an announcement about her next film. And seems like the wait is finally over.

The gorgeous actress has signed Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's next production 'Fanney Khan' alongside Anil Kapoor, with whom she'll reunite after 17 years. In the past, Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai have shared screen space in 'Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai' (2000) and 'Taal' (1999).

Confirming the news, Prerna Arora, who is also co-producing 'Fanney Khan', said, "We go on the floors by the year-end. It is a happy, slice-of-life film. We approached Aishwarya for the part and are glad she agreed to come on-board."

Reportedly, 'Fanney Khan' is an official remake Dominique Deruddere's Oscar-nominated 'Everybody's Famous (2000).'

This is the first film Aishwarya has signed after 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and that apart she is also in talks with Mani Ratnam for his next.
