Bollywood may undergo changes each passing year but the demand of the fans for one thing may never cease to exist and that's item songs. So much so, that the lack of a superstar in a film may as well do but not a sizzling item song with a catchy hook line. Every year we see a surge of Bollywood babes prancing around in their itsy-bitsy clothes making their way to popularity with just a song and keeping up with the trend, this year too promises some sexy sirens setting the screens on fire. Here's a low down:

Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi Sinha seems to be becoming everybody's favorite and if not for an entire film, filmmakers are eagerly roping her in for item numbers. Sajid Khan is no different. The filmmaker roped the voluptuous diva for an item song for his forthcoming flick Himmatwala.

Titled Thank God It's Friday is already topping the charts and the retro-inspired '80s based disco number happens to be Sonakshi's second successful item number first being Go Go Go Govinda from Paresh Rawal starrer OMG! Oh My God.
