In the last few days, there have been plenty of speculations revolving around Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Padmavati.'

After the shooting of the film was disrupted twice due to attacks and vandalizations of the sets in Jaipur and Kolhapur recently, it was reported that in the light of the current problems the film was being pushed to 2018.

However, finally there is some confirmation from the production house regards to the release date of SLB's film. Reportedly, Viacom 18, which is one of the producers of 'Padmavati', has refuted reports that the film's release date has been pushed to 2018, saying that the period drama will hit the theaters as per schedule in November 2017. "Padmavati is not postponed. Not shifting to 2018 either. It will release on November 17, 2017," Viacom 18 Motion Pictures confirmed in a statement.

The film features Deepika Padukone in the title role as Rani Padmavati, alongside Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
