• The pooja of Mammootty's 'Emmanuel' directed by Lal Jose was held at Kochi. It is after a long gap that the two of them are joining for a venture.
  
  Scripted by A C Vijish, Mammootty plays the title character in the film. Fahad Fazil will be seen in a negative role in the movie. Salim Kumar, Nedumudi Venu, Guinness Pakru, and Sunil Sugatha are the other main characters. Reenu Mathew and Aparna do the main female roles.
  
  Pradeep Nair is in charge of photography and Afsal is the music director.
  
  'Oru Maravathoor Kanavu', 'Pattalam', and 'Puram Kazhchakal' which were part of 'Kerala Cafe' are the films in which Mammootty and Lal Jose worked together.
