'Molly Aunty Rocks' in Film Festivals

- Ranjith Sankar's 'Molly Aunty Rocks' starring Revathi in the lead role has been selected to Stuttgart Film Festival. The movie also got entry to the prestigious Cannes Edition of Indian Films.
'Molly Aunty Rocks' is a pleasant movie told in a simple and sincere way with relatable plot and characters. The movie tells the story of a middle-aged woman played by Revathy and her encounters with a young Income Tax officer Pranav played by Prithviraj. Revathy's stellar performance has been the highlight of the movie.
'Molly Aunty Rocks 'dealt with some relevant social issues and was a movie with a strong message also. It tries to give a different and positive perspective about the life and the way we live it.
The honest attempt by Ranjith Shankar was applauded by critics and audience as well. Apart from doing good business in Kerala, movie did decent business outside Kerala and abroad especially in USA.
This year the Cannes Film Festival will be paying homage to 100 years of Indian cinema. A large delegation of actors and directors from India is expected to attend the annual film festival.
