Mammootty's nephew Ashkar Saudan to be hero

Mammooty's nephew Ashkar Saudan turns hero through the film 'Mithrem' which tells a love story in a horror background.

'Mithrem' penned by M D Tamirazhan narrates the intriguing incidents that happen in the life of a news correspondent on a night during his journey from Peermedu to Alapuzha. 'Mithrem' is directed by Jespal Shanmugan.

In the banner of White Swan Productions, the film is produced by R K Rajesh Shelley, Sanil Kumar, and Lalu Saji. The other actors include Vijay Menon, Devan, R K Rajesh Shelley, Gauri Krishna, Surya Kiran, Gita Vijayan, and Thrissur Elsy.

Ashkar who has completed a course in Film editing has acted in a few Malayalam and Tamil films. After 'Mithram', he will play the lead role in 'Sanghumugham' directed by Suku Menon.
