Meera is the daughter of Thrissur City Police Commissioner. She is now at house arrest because of her love for Biju who is a robber.
Biju is in jail. There he acquaints Johnny, who later becomes his friend. Biju relates the details of his lover to Johnny.
Biju entrusts Johnny with the duty of freeing Meera and to take her to him. At the same time Biju plans for a robbery as he is in need of some money. Johnny managed to free Meera from house arrest but met with some unforeseen events.
Saju Ezhupunna's romantic thriller 'Pocket Lover' has many new faces. Vishnu Mohan, Hari, and Swathi are cast as Johnny, Biju, and Meera respectively. The story, script, and dialogues are by Sanal K Sukumar and cinematography is handled by Noushad Sheriff. The film is co-produced by Thomas Joseph and James Joseph under the banner Anu Amala Creations.
