The story of ‘Amen’ unfolds in the backdrop of a parish in Kuttanadu in the 80’s. ‘Amen’ is a musical romantic story which gives great importance to church, church choir, and the festivals of the church. Solomon (Fahad Fazil) is the sacristan in a church in the village of Kumarankkary. He falls in love with Sosanna (Swati), the only daughter of the rich and aristocratic contractor Philippose (Nandu). Sosanna is a member of the church choir. Their love leads them to many unexpected and intriguing events that plot the story of ‘Amen’. Kalabhavan Mani, Hindi actor Makarand Deshpande, Indrajith as Fr. Vattoli, and Joy Mathew as Fr. Ottaplackal are also cast in important roles. Sudheer Karamana, Anil Murali, Sandra Thomas, Sunil Sugatha, Sasi Kalinga, Kulappulli Leela, and Chali Pala lend support. Directed by Lijo Jose Pellisserry, ‘Amen’ is produced by Fareed Khan under the banner of White Bands Media House.
