Director Linguswami has given a very enjoyable film with good music by Vidyasagar and a brilliant cinematography by Jeeva. Madhvan has proved in this film that he can also do action and that too convincingly. Meera Jasmine who makes her debut in the film comes as a breath of fresh air.
Madhvan comes to Chennai for studies. He meets Meera and falls in love with her. Despite her warning him that her brother Atul Kulkarni is a dada, he begins to chase her. Her brother sets his men on Madhvan but he beats them up. And soon Meera too starts loving him. Finally Madhvan elopes with Meera and how he overcomes the brother's opposition forms the story.
Atul Kulkarni's mind blowing performance is one of the highlights of the film. He manages to create terror with a sheer expressive face and body language and without using his muscle.
