Pattam Pole Synopsis

‘Pattom Pole’, starring Dulquer Salman, will be the directorial debut of ace cameraman Azhagappan. With over 40 films to his credit, Azhagappan is a well known cinematographer in Malayalam Film Industry. Scripted by K. Girish Kumar, the movie will be produced by Carlton Films Karunakaran. This will also be the debut of Bollywood cinematographer K. U. Mohanan’s daughter Malavika Mohan. Pattom Pole is a teenage romantic story and tells the story of a Brahmin youth Karthikeyan aka Karthik (Dulquer Salman) who works in an event management company. Karthik has all the characteristics of young age and is innocent and energetic. He develops an attraction to his co-worker Ria which ultimately leads to them falling head over heels for each other. The story takes a turn when at one point, all of a sudden, they end their relationship. What led to their break up and what happens afterwards forms the rest of the plot. Anoop Menon plays the role of Michael Rosario, the chief head of the event management company. Lalu Alex plays the father of the heroine Malavika. Other actors are Archana Kavi, Jayaprakash, Nandu, Sunil Sugada, Seetha, Meera Krishnan and Sradha. Selvakumar will handle the cinematography, M Jayachandran the music and Raja Muhammed will be the editor.
