'They killed his brother and he wreaked havoc in Bombay, and you did what?' screams a politician to the powerful businessman.' And you know how the movie is going to end! It's just that this time Ajay Mehra is defending four teenagers who have found evidence on crime that is being passed off as an accident. The direction may be raw, but the action is good.

Thankfully, Sunny or the film is not stuck in the time warp and the sequel is quite contemporary and written to suit today's times. Even though the movie begins rather sluggishly, it soon picks up speed and soon enough you are at the edge of the seat, with your heart beating harder.

What separates Ghayal Once Again from most other Bollywood franchises is that it is a genuine sequel to the 1990 super hit Ghayal and takes off from where the previous film left. Watch Ghayal Once Again at your own risk and only if you can withstand the relentless onslaught it unleashes.

The sequel to Ghayal - directed by Sunny himself - seems to be the star's effort to do a balancing act between an emerging audience with changing tastes and his own traditional following. When it is hinging itself on action alone, Ghayal Once Again is effective.

Ghayal Once Again is a reminder that sequels are always superfluous unless they are as inventive and striking as Mad Max: Fury Road. At best, Ghayal 2.0 seems like Deol, 58, reliving his glorious past as the last.

Till the film keeps moving briskly-the chase scenes are effective, if stretched-you stay with it. And then the ludicrous plot with all those hanging threads kicks in, and prevents us from getting what we've come to this film for : to see Sunny D. For once, Bollywood has come out with a sequel which feels organically grown.

We knew only he could do this, but what we didn't know was that he would be returning with a sequel 26 years later. He does so with a hangover which refuses to go before thrashing at least 500 people. What we finally have is a film still stuck in the '90s.

Its not sunny at all. I like to review "Ghayal once again" in 5 points, 3 downs and 2 ups.
1. "Ghayal once again" title of the movie? seriously awful.
2. Poor story, especially sunny having visions of miserable past which makes him groan like hulk and punch walls suddenly Dr appears with pills.
3. Newcomers was disappointing.
Ups are
4.At 58 sunny's passion and enthusiasm is immense.
5. Soha Ali khan did her best and VFX team did great job.
If you are sunny deol fan this one rocks you.
