Oru Korean Padam Synopsis

| Cast & Crew
With a strange title comes writer-director Sujith S Nair's second venture 'Oru Korean Padam' with the tagline 'Pani Kitti Mone'. After his previous movie 'Kashh' which was a disaster at the box office, Sujith is back with an out and out comedy movie.

Kishore, a young aspiring film maker from Kerala gets tired of meeting producers without any results. None of the producers he meets is ready to provide finance for the script written by him. Finally he follows the general pattern that is currently going on the industry and writes a script which is an exact copy of a Korean movie 'Something Out of Nothing'. He names it 'Turning Point' and it indeed proves out to be a turning point in his career, as a producer readily comes to take up the movie. The movie turns out to be an instant hit.

But little did Kishore know that something else related to this was going on in Korea. 'Something out of Nothing' was the dream project of a Korean director Juan Jin, whose two previous outings in the Korean film industry were hits. But this movie turns out to be a flop in Korea and Juan Jin becomes full of debts. One day he gets to know about the 'copy' of his movie via a Facebook friend, which is released in Kerala . Juan Jin realizes that this is his only chance to get his money and repay his debts. So he arrives in Kerala with the intention of registering a case with a demand of compensation under the copyright act. The story then takes some unexpected turns and twists which forms the rest of the plot.

Maqbool Salman plays the role of Kishore and a Korean actor Juan enacts Korean director Juan Jin in the movie. Suraj Venjaaramoodu, Tini Tom, Mammukoya, Chembil Asokhan, Sunil Sughadha, Sona Nair and Kavya Jose play other prominent roles in the movie. Produced by S Muraleedharan and Selvan Tamalam, the dialogues are by P.N Ajayakumar. Lyrics are by Kaithapram, Anil Panachooran and Murugan Kaattakada and music is by Vaasudev Shanmugharaj.
