Director Gokul's 'Kaashmora' is an attempt to create a fantasy-horror-comedy-thriller. Watch it for opulent visual effects and art.

Kaashmora has its moments of humour, experimentation and grandeur, but it doesn't hold us tight enough to not get distracted.

With average first half, decent second half Kaashmora may do decently in India. In overseas too, if promoted well, this movie might have a decent run. If you are a person who likes a horror movie filled with some humor, some fantasy and grandeur, Kaashmora is for you. You may watch it once.

Watch it for amazing performances from Karthi and Nayanthara and Gokul and team's commendable attempt in spite of budgetary constraints.

Let's not compare Karthi's Kaashmora with Baahubali as it would be a grave injustice to both films.

For now, the blame must go on Gokul, who just doesn't seem to be happy becoming our version of the Farrelly Brothers. He wants to be a Coen and one half of a Wachowski too.
