Kunal had the eyes which were stalking and in it convey the confounding emotions of a man struggling with guilt complex. The movie has touching moments to go with a few glaring errors which are unimportant considering the vast scope of the bard.

Jayaraj has done a herculean job trying to carve out a story from Vadakkan pattu to suit Shakespeare's great tragedy Macbeth. Wherever aptly fits in Jayaraj has used the same dialogues from Macbeth which makes the film very appealing to the lovers of Shakespeare. A big clap to Jayaraj! Photography, sound recording, visual effects, background score, etc of the movie are awesome. However, a little more care could have been given to lighting to make the nights look more like nights.   Veeram User Rating

The movie lacked much needed grip, and character build up was quite inefficient. Also the kalaripayattu scenes lack the punch.   Veeram User Rating
