Krishnarjuna Yuddham Review

|
Krishnarjuna Yuddham has an entertaining first half. The film hits a kind of a mini-climax pre-Interval and completely changes tracks from there. The second half goes predictable and boring without any highs.

Krishna (Nani) hails from a village in Chittoor who is after Riya (Rukshar), the village President's Granddaughter. Then there is Arjun (Nani) in Europe, a rockstar who is after Subba Lakshmi (Anupama Parameswaran). Both of them are identical but have no blood relation. Krishna and Arjun comes to Hyderabad in search of them. What happens to them? What is the problem they face? How they rescue their girls? forms the rest.

Nani is seen in a dual role as a rural guy and a rockstar. He walked effortlessly in the role of a Chittoor guy with excellent body language and good local dialect. But he appears misfit in the role of a rockstar. Both the heroines have got limited roles. Even though they are good, they could not do much. Brahmanji, Sudhakar, and Devadarshini have managed some laughs in the first half.

Merlapaka Gandhi, the writer as well as the director of the film clearly struggled with the Arjun Track and the Second Half. After the interval, the movie did not have any highs and the narration is too boring. Karthik Ghattamaneni's camera work is superb. Some extraordinary locales are captured. Except for a couple, the songs are disappointing. Editing is disappointing in the second half.

The movie is just time pass.
Nanny shows his super talent in his meaty double role.
Both the heroines have an insignificant role with less importance given to them.
Nani is impressive as a rural guy but fails to create the same magic as a rockstar!
Overall the film is just average and looses track in the second half.
The movie would have been better if it had a better story.
NANI SAVES THE SHOW OTHERWISE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN AN UTTER BORE!
