'Ponniyin Selvan" is directed by Radha Mohan and produced by A M Rathnam. It has Ravi Krishna in the lead role with Gopika in the female lead.
It's about a youngster with an inferiority complex, who loses all his confidence to come up in life. He comes across people who instill confidence in him to fight and succeed. It is an emotional drama of a youth who strives to achieve his goal. Gopika plays Ravi Krishna's ladylove.
"Ponniyin Selvan" also stars veteran actress Revathy who plays Ravikrishna's mother. To sun up, it is an emotional melodrama carrying a positive note about life.
