Something Something Unakum Enakum is full of good sentiments. Director Raja has casted his brother Jeyam Ravi with Trisha playing the female lead.
It is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, which was directed by choreographer-actor-director Prabhu Deva. Trisha played the female lead in the original version as well.
The film is all about Ravi, who plays the role of an NRI, falling in love with a young girl in a rural village played by Trisha. Trisha's brother opposes their affair. Prabhu plays the role of Trisha's brother. In Telugu, Sri Hari played the role of Trisha's brother. The rest is about how wins over the heart of Trisha's brother. Though, an oft-repeated theme the film has enough commercial elements and sentiments to attract.
Devi Sri Prasad will compose the musical score. The film involves a huge star cast comprising Richa Pallod, Thejasri, Kalabhavan Mani, Autograph fame Mallika.
The movie is shot in foreign locations, interior villages and urban locales of Tamilnadu. The art-director G C Anandhan came up with over 30 different sets, which is rare these days in Tamil films.
Shooting is complete and the movie is due to hit screens anytime.
