Uthara Swayamvaram Preview

Prakashan (Jayasurya) is an easy going guy who is virtually doing nothing in life other than dreaming about this girl called Uthara. He belongs to an average household and his father runs a grocery shop, while the girl belongs to a rich family. As he had saved the girl from an abandoned well during their school days, Prakashan thinks it is reason enough for her to love him. But the sad part is that she is not even aware of his feelings.
Prakashan's father, Sreedhara Kurup (Balachandra Menon), has great plans about his son's future but the boy never lives up to those dreams. He lives in a fantasy world. His sister Ambily (Varada) knows of Prakashan's dreams. Sometime later, Uthara is all set get engaged to a boy from an affluent household. But certain dramatic twists happen resulting in Prakashan's marriage to Uthara. However, his happiness doesn't last long, and this forms the suspense in the story.
