The Shafi-Benny P Nayarambalam combo is back! Their latest film Chattambinaadu is complete, and is all set for a Christamas release.
The successful director-scenarist duo would tell the story of Chembattunaadu that was transformed into Chattmabinaadu.
In Chattambinaadu, Mammootty plays Veerendra Mallayya, a goon who is always dressed in white. The film talks about how not knowing a language like Malayalam, changes the course of life of this man. Laxmi Rai is back with Mammootty in this film. She plays Gauri, a village girl who confronts Veerendra Mallayya. Vinu Mohan plays Mammootty's brother.
The action film would be laced with humor and loads of sentiments. Shafi is expected to work wonders at the box office again, with Chattambinaadu.
Produced by Naushad and Anto Joseph, it would be distributed by Playhouse.
