Filmmaker Sanjeev Raj is all ready with his new film after 'Five Fingers'. Titled 'Film Star' the film takes a closer look at the film industry and the equations that make it tick.
Kalabhavan Mani plays the title role of a busy multilingual artiste. Dileep plays the role of Nanda Gopan, an enthusiastic film lover. Rambha is the heroine.
Jagathy Sreekumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salim Kumar, Biju Menon, Cochin Haneefa and Biju Kuttan offer support.
Film Star has been produced by Appu Pattathanam and Sanjeev Raj. It has been shot on locations in and around Palakkad, Chennai and Hyderabad.
The film would be a July 2011 release.
