In Paappi Appacha, Innocent plays Mathai, while Dileep is his son Paappi. Hailing from Ithirikkandam, a small village somewhere in Kerala, the father-son duo believe that they are the rulers of the village. Sad for them, that there are not many others who think so.
Paappi meanwhile has his eyes and heart fixed on Annie (Kavya Madhavan) who is a school teacher. Annie on the other hand cant even stand the sight of the pompous father and son.
To set things worse, there is also Shashankan Muthalali (Ashokan) around, who is waiting for an opportunity to make life hell for Paappi and his Appachan. So, with the arrival of Maanikunju (Suresh krishna), another business man in the village, things turn tough for Mathai and Paapi.
Paappi Appacha has been directed by newcomer Mamas, who has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film. The cinematography is by Sanjeev Shankar and editing by V T Sreejith.
Music of the film is by Vidyasagar, and the lyrics have been penned by the late Gireesh Puthencherry and Vayalar Sharathchandra Verma.
Releasing this Vishu, Paapi Appacha would be a laugh riot that would have the audience begging for more.
