Produced under the banner of Cinema Paradiso, 3 Char Sau Beas has been scripted and directed by Adoor Govindankutty. Govindankutty who had done the main lead in a film called 'Nanthuni' takes up the director's role for the first time in this film.
Govindankutty is quite popular as the presenter of the programme Students Only on Kairali TV.
3 Char Sau Beas tells the story of three young boys who are out to have some fun. Char Sau Beas refers to a person who is up to some fraudulent activity. So what are these three guys up to? Watch 3 Char Sau Beas to find the answer!
The three chaps are played by Govindankutty Adoor, Rahul Menon and Anu Anandhan.
Besides the three newcomers, the film has Kalabhavan Mani, Jagathy Sreekumar, Bijukkuttan, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Jaffer Idukki and Salim Kumar in key roles.
Dhanya Mary Varghese plays the female lead. Director Major Ravi appears in a cameo.
Cinematography is by Bejoyce Varghese. Lyrics by Anil Panachooran have been set to tune by Jassie Gift.
A bunch of youngsters have come together to make this movie that promises to be an entertainer from the word go. With the right mix of comedy and sentiments, 3 Char Sau Beas hopes to strike a chord with the discerning Malayali filmgoer.
Vinod Nair & Jayesh Thampan have produced the film that is almost complete. 3 Char Sau Beas is expected to hit the screens soon.
