The Train  (2011)  (Malayalam)
The Train has been directed by Jayaraj, and marks the coming together of the director with Mammootty after the much acclaimed 'Loud Speaker'.

The film is set against the backdrop of 11 July 2006 Mumbai train bombings. It also takes a look at the lives of Malayalee families affected by the bomb blasts.

Mammootty plays a police officer investigating the murder of a young man who had come to Mumbai to sing a track under composer A. R. Rahman.

It also stars Jayasurya, Sheena Chohan and Sabitha Jayaraj in supporting roles. The film was earlier titled as Track with Rahman.

The music has been composed by Srinivas. Cinematography is by Thanu Paalakh and Seenu Murukkumpuzha. The film has been edited by Vivek Harshan.

The film that has been produced by Harvest Dreams and Entertainments Pvt. Ltd is slated for a release in Kerala on 27th of May. It would later be dubbed into Hindi and Tamil as well.
