Mukesh plays Rajasekharan, an English lecturer in a prominent college in the city in 'Navagatharkku Swagatham', directed by Jayakrishna Karanavar.
Rajasekharan is Appettan for students and college employees alike, since he is both father and elder brother to several of them. Sreerekha is a lecturer of the same college who finds it difficult to accept several of Appettan's teaching strategies. Jyothirmayi plays Sreerekha.
'Navagatharkku Swagatham' has been penned by Kalavoor Ravikumar. Rajith Menon, Shafna, Jagathy, Vinay, Suraj, Indrans, Anoop Chandran and Tony play supporting roles.
The cinematography of the film is by Dileep Raman. Johnson has composed the music, while the lyrics have been penned by Anil Panachooran.
The film throws together humor and romance together and has been shot on locations at Kalamassery. 'Navagatharkku Swagatham' has been produced by KKG Nair under the banner of Dwarka Creations.
