Ninnishtam Ennishtam 2 is a sequel to the film 'Ninnishtam Ennishtam' that was directed by Priyadarshan years back.
The new film stars Suresh in the lead role. Suresh plays Sreekuttan's nephew in the film who arrives in the city where his uncle had lived twenty five years back.
In the original film Mohanlal had played the role of Sreekuttan, while Priya had played the role of Shalini, the blind singer.
Priya would be appearing as Shalini once again in the sequel. Johnny, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Sukumari, Kalpana, Jagathy and several other actors would lend support.
The original film had two hit songs both of which would be featured in the new film as well.
Ninnishtam Ennishtam 2 would be a July 2011 release.
