'My dear Mummy' is a different campus story directed by G.Mahadevan. The movie spans around the two leading characters- Katrina and her daughter Sandra.
Katrina has been a hardworking woman, since she lost her husband at an early age. Now she has everything to live a good life. But, in certain occasions, she feels insulted, due to the lack of speaking ability in English. Hence she joins the same college where Sandra is studying. This adds to the novelty of the theme of the movie.
The roles of Katrina and Sandra are handled by Urvashi and Sandhya respectively. The Cinematography is done by Vipin Mohan and Art Direction is undertaken by Biju Vijay. Deepu Ramanan and Joshy Kandathil are the producers of the movie under the banner of R.D.Productions.
