Melvilasam is a film, that is based on a play by renowned playwright Soorya Krishnamurthy. The film tells the story of a court martial that took place way back in 1974.

Melvilasam is believed to be an edge of the sear thriller, that would tell a gripping story. The film that has been reportedly shot indoors, will not have a female character.

The film is being directed by debutant director Madhav Ramadasan. Suresh Gopi and Tamil actor Parthiban would do the lead roles. It has also been learned that Parthiban would dub for himself in the film.

There would also be other actors as Kakka Ravi, Thalaivasal Vijay, Ashokan, Krishnakumar and V K Baiju, who would be seen in supporting roles.

'Melvilasam' has been produced by Muhammed Salim under the banner of Mark Movies. The film would grace the screens by the end of April.
