Chappa Kurish marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Sameer Thahir. Sameer had worked as the cinematographer of films like 'Big B' and 'Daddy Cool'.
The film tells the story of two young men Arjun and Ansari who meet in unexpected ways in a city in Kerala.
While Fahadh Fazil plays Arjun, Vineeth Sreenivasan plays Ansari. Roma and Remya Nambeeshan are the heroines. Dinesh Panicker, Niveda and host of other actors lend support.
Cinematography is by Jomon T John, while Rex Vijayan has composed the background score.
Chappa Kurish has been produced by Listen Stephen under the banner of Magic Frames. It would be a July 2011 release.
