The makers of 'Don' and its overseas distributors are having the last laugh! Despite mixed reviews, the mega Shah Rukh Khan-starrer has rocked the overseas box-office.

For one, being a thriller, it was not a typical overseas genre, yet its opening and subsequent performance in the overseas territories is the talk of the trade.

In the UK, according to Neilsen EDI, the world's box-office authority, 'Don' did more than £288,000 on its previews and opening weekend on 74 engagements. As on Tuesday morning, the box-office gross of 'Don' stood at approx £396,000, implying that the first week will close at a figure in excess of £0.5million.

In the US, according to Variety.Com, 'Don' grossed a staggering $805,000 on its opening weekend on 113 engagements.
