According to Sourav, the Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions of GURU 'have miserably flopped in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, but the Hindi version of the film released in the major urban centers of both the states is doing remarkable business. The failure of dubbed versions is mainly due to the non sink of lips in the dialogue delivery and also absence of native ambience in films, according to Sourav. According to Sourav, though DHOOM II was declared a big hit from day 1, the film could not sustain for a long time and the film was targeted the youthful audience. But GURU has become a hit with the family audience too' he adds.
