Actor Pawan Malhotra returns to the small screen after three years with Manish Goswami's "Aisa Desh Hai Mera" on Sony television.

Pawan, who has done excellent work in serials like "Nukkad", "9 Malabar Hill", "Kahaan Se Kahaan Tak", plays Gaurav Chopra's stepfather Sanjeet Marvah and it is an outright positive character.

Talking about his comeback, he said: "I would never say no to Manish Goswami with whom I've had really wonderful experiences. I did 'Kahaan Se Kahaan Tak', directed by the great Lekh Tandon, with him. This role in 'Aisa Desh hai Mera' really appealed to me. Manish has done a lot of good things for television."

Apart from serials, Pawan has some excellent offbeat films to his credit like "Saleem Langde Pe Mat Ro" and "Bagh Bahadur". His latest release is Farhan Akhtar's "Don - The Chase Begins" where he plays the character Narang.
