• A special album will be created for 'Thangameengal' being produced by Gautham Menon's Photon Kathaas. The album, which will feature school children along with Yuvan Shankar Raja, who scores the music for the film. The unit has been travelling all over the State in this connection.
  
  Ram, who directed 'Katradhu Tamizh', wields the megaphone for 'Thangameengal', also plays the protagonist who has Rohini and Padmapriya for company.
  
  'Katradu Tamisz also had Yuvan as the music director.
  
  'Thangameengal' portrays the emotional bonding between a father and daughter. Though the award winning Vikram-starrer 'Deivathirumagal' had dealt with the same subject, 'Thangameengal' will project the affection shared between the father and daughter from a different angle and in a different milieu.
