Voice issues make Emma Stone picky about stage shows

  • Los Angeles, July 6 (IANS) Actress Emma Stone is wary of signing up for a theatre role because she regularly loses her voice due to callouses on her vocal cords.

She often struggles to speak due to the ailment, and as a result she's so picky.

"I would love to do stage. I grew up doing plays and musicals and sketch comedy on stage," dailystar.co.uk quoted Stone as saying.

"But then I have callouses on my vocal cords, which is why I sound like this hoarse, so I lose my voice all the time. If I am able to rectify that in any way, then I will definitely get back on stage," said the 23-year-old.
