  • London, Jan 17 (IANS) Teen superstar Miley Cyrus' representative has shot down rumours that the "Hannah Montana" actress is engaged to boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

    The singer-actress met Hemsworth on the sets of new movie "The Last Song" last year and they grew close as they filmed together in Georgia.

    As they spent New Year's Eve together in Australia, Cyrus fuelled rumours the pair was preparing to seal its union when she was photographed with a diamond on her ring finger, reports contactmusic.com.

    But Cyrus' representatvie has now dismissed reports the 17-year-old is to wed Hemsworth and asserted that the rumours are "not true".
