• Los Angeles, Jan 12 (DPA) The movies "Avatar", "The Hurt Locker", "Precious" and "Up in the Air" were all nominated for screenwriting awards by the Writers Guild of America Monday, cementing their status as front runners at the Oscars and the Golden Globe Awards.
  
  Also nominated by the screenwriters' organization were "(500) Days of Summer", "The Hangover", "Crazy Heart", "Julie and Julia", "Star Trek" and "A Serious Man".
  
  The WGA awards will be handed out Feb 20 in Los Angeles and New York.
