'Up' gets best animated feature film Oscar

- Los Angeles, March 8 (IANS) Director Pete Docter walked away with the best animated film Oscar for "UP" at the 82nd Academy Awards.
The film revolves around 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen who ties thousands of balloon to his home and sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America. Right after lifting off, however, he learns he isn't alone as Russell, a wilderness explorer 70 years his junior, has inadvertently become a stowaway on the trip.
