Darshan says Vishnu sir had lot of Josh while performing

B'lore, Jan.29 (NR): Darshan had acted with late Dr. Vishnuvardhan in the film Ee Bhandana in a small role, but thinks very high about the actor who was very passionate about his acting.

"I had work for two days with him and I saw him acting with lot of Josh in the sequences we were teamed with. He was immersed in his role always," says Darshan.

"I had some good experience of watching him closely as a youngster when I was going to the studios and spots where shooting was taking place. He had acted with my father Toogudeepa Sreenivas in many films and it was a treat to watch him acting. Personally I did not enjoy a great relationship with him, though I was close to him always visiting his house often. He was always quiet and opened up to me only when he was sought some advise. Anyway I look to him as a role model for any actor of this generation," says Darshan who is now looking forward for the release of his next film Porki for which the first copy has already come out.

In fact, if everything had fallen into places, then Vishnuvardhan should have also acted in Porki and he was even contacted by the producers of the film through journalist Ganesh Kasargod who was presenting the film.

"We did contact him to play the role of Darshan's father in the film. The role is very powerful one and the film's attractive value would have gone up if Daada had acted in this film. But we did give him the DVD of the Telugu original film Pokiri, but did not force him to do this role," says Ganesh Kasargod.
