- Bangalore, Nov 1 (IANS) Ganesh starrer "Krishna" is into its fourth week and is still leading the pack of popular Kannada films this fortnight.
The top five Kannada films are:
1. "Krishna" - Directed by M.D. Sridhar, the film's box-office collections have already crossed the Rs.15-million mark in Bangalore, Tumkur and Kolar. At the moment Ganesh seems to be the most popular actor of Kannada cinema.
2. "Milana" - The film is about to cross 50-day mark and the credit goes to the songs and Puneet Raj Kumar's box office appeal.
3. "Geleya" - Starring young actors Prajwal Devraj and Tarun, the film had a good opening. It is in its second week and its collections in Bangalore are extremely good.
4. "Cheluvina Chittara" - It has completed 125 days and its performance in northern Karnataka is much better than that of blockbuster "Mungaru Male".
5. "Mungaru Male" - The film is still running in suburban theatres in major cities and also in the interior centres. It has not lost its appeal even 10 months after its release.
