• Cochin, July.8 (NR): Not many of us would have forgotten Akhila, the charming young girl who was a contestant and one of the finalists of Vodafone Thakadhimi.
  
  She later on gained more admirers as the anchor of the programme Munch Star Singer on Asianet.
  
  The beautiful young girl is all set to make her film debut now. Akhila enters the world of films as Dileep's heroine in 'Karyasthan'.
  
  'Karyasthan' would also have another heroine, Vandana, who was last seen in 'Happy Husbands'.
  
  The film to be directed by debutante director Thomson K Thomas would have a script by Sibi K Thomas - Udayakrishna team.
