"Attakadha" based on the novel "Cholliyattam"

Cochin, July 10 (NR): Kannan Perumudiyoor's "Attakadha" is based on his novel, "Cholliyattam", which fetched him the Abudhabi Shakti Award. "Attakadha" is a romantic movie told in the backdrop of music.
According to Kannan, "The plot tells a journey to find out kinship. The movie reveals the fact that love can overcome the barriers of place, language and culture".
Kerala Kalamandalam is the main setting of "Attakadha".
Vineeth plays the male lead. Meera Nandan stars opposite Vineeth. Ireena, Malavika , Sreeraman, Sivaji, Kalasala Babu, T.G.Ravi, Madambu Kunjukuttan , and Bindu Panicker are the other cast.
Music by Raveendran-Girish Puthenchery team and screenplay by Kannan.
