Cochin, Oct.20 (NR): Shaji N Karun's film 'Kutti Sranku' is the only Malayalam film to be selected to the mainstream section of the Indian Panorama of the International Film Festival of India to be held at Goa this year.

Shaji's film has scored over several other films like Adoor Gopalakrishnan's 'Oru Pennum Randaanum', T V Chandran's 'Bhoomi Malayalam' and several other much celebrated films.

The only other Malayalam film to be selected for the Panorama is 'Keshu' directed by Santhosh Shivan. 'Keshu' has been selected into the Childrens' films category.

'Kutti Sranku' features Mammootty, Padmapriya, Kamalini Mukherjee and Srilankan actress Meena Kumari in the lead roles. It recently had its premiere at Montreal, where it was well appreciated by the audience.
