• Kochi, March 7 (IANS) Mammootty-starrer "Maayavi" continues its run at the top, while new release "The Speed Track", starring Dileep, comes a close second.
  
  The top five Malayalam films are:
  
  1. "Maayavi": Mammootty appeals to both the masses and the classes, but "Maayavi" - directed by Shafi - is more for the masses.
  
  2. "The Speed Track": Under newcomer Jayasurya's direction, this film starring Dileep is set in the campus of a sports college.
  
  3. "Detective": Debutant director Jithu Joseph's thriller, with Suresh Gopi donning a double role, retains its place.
  
  4. "Inspector Garud": This Dileep film comes down two notches, yielding to "The Speed Track".
  
  5. "Kaiyoppu": Director Ranjith's film starring Mammootty manages to stay on this list.
