Mohanlal and Resul Pookkutty to be conferred Doctorates on Mar.16

  • Trivandrum, Mar.10 (NR): The Kaladi Sanskrit University would confer honorary doctorates on both Megastar Mohanlal and Oscar winning sound director Resul Pookkutty on the 16th of March.

    The event would take place at 12.30 in the afternoon at the University campus.

    Mohanlal would be given a doctorate taking into consideration his contributions to Indian cinema. Resul on the other hand would be granted the honor for all the fame that he has bought to the country and the state in particular, by winning international awards like the OSCAR as well as the BAFTA prize.

    Besides Mohanlal and Resul, the University would also confer a doctorate for Prof. Hariharaputra Sharma, for his contributions to promote the Sanskrit language.
