No plans to make 'Rajamanickyam' sequel: Anwar Rasheed

- Cochin, Sep.17 (NR): Among the dozen new projects that are announced online every day, three fourth turn out to be just rumours. And from the looks of it, the latest bit of news about a 'Rajamanickyam' sequel seems to have gone down the same pathway.
It was reported that director Anwar Rasheed has plans to direct the 'Rajamanickyam' sequel pretty soon and that it would have Mammootty playing a cop with a distinct Trivandrum slang.
The director himself has however revealed to a leading daily that there are no plans whatsoever to direct a 'Rajamanickyam' sequel. He also added that he is currently busy with 'Anchu Sundarikal', the film that he would direct for Amal Neerad Productions.
