• Raj Babu, who had years ago directed Chief Minister K.R. Gowthami, and who had later directed Chess and the recently released Kangaroo, is reportedly planning a film with Jayaram in the lead role. For Jayaram, who had had a terrible 2007 as far as his career is concerned, this film, which is supposed to be a wholesome entertainer, could prove very decisive. The current year began rather disappointingly for Jayaram, with the recently-released Novel failing to make any impression.
  
  Jayaram is also banking on Anil's Parthan Kanda Paralokam, for which he is currently shooting. The Rajbabu film will have Gopika as the leading lady opposite Jayaram and is most likely to start rolling by February end or the beginning of March. More details are awaited.
