Swetha Menon's 'Akasmikam' proceeding briskly

- Cochin, Aug.5 (NR): Swetha Menon is an actress who has been quite lucky recently to be offered the right kind of roles. And all her hard work seems to have paid off as well, with the State Award coming her way.
The actress has now signed a new film 'Akasmikam' that is being directed by veteran director George Kithu. It has been several years since Kithu directed a film, and this film could perhaps be considered as a comeback of the director.
The film is based on a short story by renowned writer Subhash Chandran. Swetha is said to have grabbed a role in the film, that would further bring many awards and accolades her way. The shoot of the film is progressing ahead briskly.
