Cochin, Oct.13 (NR): The state government has decided to allow a fifty percent tax exemption for Hariharan's magnum opus 'Pazhassi Raja'.

The film that was originally slated for an Oct.2nd release was postponed further by a couple of weeks, on account of a petition filed by the producers demanding a hike in the ticket prices for the first few days after its release.

Pazhassi would now make it to the theatres this Friday. Touted to be the costliest Malayalam film till date, the film has the best technical team behind it. Starring Mammootty as the legendary chieftain, the film is one of the most anticipated films in recent years.
