• Actress Vani Viswanath, it should be remembered, had earned the tag 'Vijayashanthi of Malayalam Cinema' by playing the tough cop in many films. She had sort of quit films after her marriage to actor Baburaj. Now, Vani is all set to make a comeback - once again playing the tough cop.
  
  An interesting thing about her comeback is that it's happening in Black Dahlia, directed by none other than her husband and actor Baburaj. Produced under the banner of M.K. Productions, Black Dahlia is an action thriller, and has Vani playing Daisy Vincent, Deputy Inspector General of Police. Baburaj also does a key role in the film, which has Pavithra, Suja Naidu, Taksha, Jafna Ali and Kavitha Nair among others in the cast. Shoot for the film is progressing.
