• Gopika, who has become one of the most sought-after young actresses in South India, is all set to enter into wedlock. She will be marrying Ajilesh, who is a native of Kothamangalam and a doctor settled in Ireland. It was through a matrimonial site that Gopika's (real name Girlie Anto) parents came into contact with Ajilesh, and after the usual formalities, the wedding was fixed formally at a betrothal ceremony held on May 22, 2008.
  
  Gopika, who was introduced into films with the Thulaseedas-directed Pranayamanithooval, became popular with For the People and then went on to become one of the leading young actresses in Malayalam as well as in Tamil.
  
  The wedding will be solemnized at Kothamangalam on July 17, 2008. It is learnt that two weeks after the wedding Gopika too would fly to Ireland. Gopika's forthcoming films are Veruthe Oru Bhaarya and Twenty Twenty, to be released in the coming months. It's heard that the much sought-after actress would bid adieu to films after her wedding.
